    • Boarding: Your pet stays in the home of one of our Pet Sitters, receiving personalized care in a comfortable, home-like environment.

    • In-Home Boarding: A certified Pet CPR sitter, trained by Pawnitas Pet Services, stays in your home to care for your pets, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in their own space.

  • Our Cancellation Policy explains it in detail. If you cancel 24 hours prior to service a charge o no refund may be in order.

  • If you are not satisfied with your pet sitters contact us directly and we will make arrangements and ensure the best care possible. Pawnitas is a web of sitters and we are confident in our services, it is perfectly normal to not match with one pet sitter.

    • Pawnitas personally trains its independent contractors. We are proud of our training and also require our pet sitters to have Pet CPR. We check up regularly on our sitters and can assure you that we care. 

    • We encourage owners to do their own background checks for a better peace of mind.

    • If a pet requires medical attention we at pawnitas train our staff to notify the owner as soon as possible. We will take your pet to its assigned vet or nearest emergency clinic if needed. Pawnitas will also be attentive to the situation and assess the emergency.

    • We know that medical issues are stressful, but rest assured that we will be as responsive as possible during an emergency.

    • Yes, Pawnitas require their pet sitters to send pictures. 

    • We do recommend 1 picture a day, but if a client needs more pictures, please notify your sitter for a routine picture. We do not encourage hourly pictures.

  • Yes. Pets with medical conditions or needs have an extra charge, but we do accommodate them.

    • We require:

      1. Up to date vaccination

      2. Flea and Tick preventives

      3. Any health record is important to the pet, especially pets with conditions.

    • Yes. We schedule meet and greet with new clients.

    • Existing clients who want a new meet and greet will have a charge.

    • Very important that you provide your sitter with:

      1. Food

      2. Leash and Collar

      3. Poop Bags

      4. Medicine if needed

    • Encouraged items

      1. Pads if needed

      2. Bed if needed

      3. Toys 

      4. Treats

  • We do charge extra for early and late pick ups that are not scheduled.

  • We encourage our pet sitters to socialize and walk with your pet, as many times as they can, but if you require more than two walks, there is an extra charge. We do offers Add ons for Dog park and beach outings.

  • Yes, with prior arrangement

  • Our policy can be found in forms under “Cancellation and Refund Policy”.

    • Our sitters are encouraged and trained to follow exact owner instructions to enter the home and do not stray from such. Any change will first be notified to the owner and later to the company. 

    • You can also solicit a camera to monitor your home during visits.
